members. Saba was 47-years-old. Also in the chopper at the time of the
crash was his wife, their son Avraham (Albert) and his daughter-in-law.
The pilot was also dead.

The choice of contacting you is aroused from the geographical nature of
where you live, particularly due to the sensitivity of the transaction
and the confidentiality herein. Now our bank has been waiting for any of
the relatives to come-up for the claim but nobody has done that. I
personally has been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for 2 years
now, I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin/Will
Beneficiary to the deceased so that the proceeds of this account valued
at 22.3 Million Pounds can be paid to you.

This will be disbursed or shared in these percentages, 60% to me and 40%
to you. I have secured all necessary legal documents that can be used to
back up this claim we are making. All I need is to fill-in your names to
the documents and legalize it in the court here to prove you as the

सत्यम, शिवम् सुन्दरम

महान दार्शनिक सुकरात को एक बार उनके परिचित ने कहा, "क्या आप जानते हैं, आपका मित्र आपके बारे में क्या कह रहा है?"

सुकरात कुछ क्षण सोच कर बोले,"एक मिनट रुको! तुम मेरे मित्र के बारे में जो बताने जा रहे हो, क्या वह पूर्णतया सत्य है?"

'नहीं वास्तव में ऐसा मैंने सुना है...' वह परिचित बोले.

"अच्छा तो तुम नहीं जानते कि वह सत्य है भी नहीं...लेकिन जो तुम बताने जा रहे हो क्या वह प्रिय है? सुकरात ने पूछा.

'नहीं, इसके विपरीत है!' परिचित बोले.

'ठहरो, तुम मेरे बारे में कुछ बुरा बताने जा रहे हो, वह न सत्य है, न प्रिय है, कोई नहीं कम से कम वह मेरे लिए लाभकारी तो होगा' सुकरात ने जानना चाहा.

'नहीं, बिल्कुल नहीं...."परिचित बोले.

इसके बाद सुकरात ने कहा,'जो न सत्य है, न प्रिय है और न ही शुभ एवं लाभकारी है, तुम उसे क्यों बताना चाहते हो?'

वह परिचित व्यक्ति पूरी तरह निरुत्तर रह गया. "सत्यम, शिवम् सुन्दरम " का यह सुन्दर उदाहरण आज मुझे एक समाचार पत्र से प्राप्त हुआ है. 

राजनीति किस दिशा में लेकर जा रही है भारत को

राजनीति किस दिशा में लेकर जा रही है भारत को यह समझना आज के हालात में बेहद मुश्किल है. ऐसे समय में जब भ्रष्टाचार के विरुद्ध पूरे भारत में आन्दोलन चल रहे हैं, कांग्रेस की साख बुरी तरह गिरी है, यह सोचना विचारणीय हो जाता है कि उसके बाद भी विपक्षी दलों के मत प्रतिशत में कोई लंबा चौड़ा बदलाव नहीं दिख रहा है. बुरी तरह अंदरूनी कलह से परेशान भाजपा तो किसी भी जगह पर अपने लिए एक सर्वमान्य नेता तक नहीं तैयार कर पा रही है. जहाँ सभी सर्वेक्षण नरेंद्र भाई मोदी को भाजपा की और से सर्वदा पसंदीदा उम्मीदवार दिखा रहे हैं वहीँ भाजपा किसी भी राज्य में उन्हें लेकर जाने की भी हिम्मत नहीं कर रही है. भले ही इस समय पर यह कहना अनुचित होगा कि कौन अगला प्रधानमन्त्री होगा, पर फिर भी एक भी पार्टी यह दावा नहीं ठोक सकती कांग्रेस के अलावा कि उनका आने वाला प्रधानमन्त्री पद का दावेदार कौन होगा. जहाँ तक कांग्रेस की बात है वहां गाँधी परिवार का एक छत्र राज है. जोकि आज से नहीं अपितु पिछले साठ वर्षों से अधिक समय से है. उसके पास राहुल गाँधी के रूप में सहज उम्मीदवार है; हालांकि समूचे गाँधी परिवार में सबसे कम लोक प्रिय और सबसे कम करिश्माई नेता की उनकी छवि को तोड़ने का पार्टी भरसक प्रयास कर रही है पर वे चूँकि कहीं भी अपेक्षित सफलता अर्जित नहीं कर पा रहे हैं इसलिए उनके करिश्मे पर प्रश्न चिह्न लगना तो अवश्यम्भावी है. विपक्ष की मुसीबत उन सरकारों ने बढ़ा रखी हैं जहाँ गैर कांग्रेस सरकारें हैं. लगभग सभी ऐसे राज्यों में अगले लोकसभा चुनावों से पहले चुनाव हैं और वहां सरकार विरोधी लहर से कांग्रेस को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर फायदा स्पष्ट रूप से होगा. जहाँ समूची कांग्रेस राहुल गाँधी के लिए लगभग एक मत है, कोई भी अन्य पार्टी किसी भी एक उम्मीदवार को लेकर एक मत नहीं बना रही है. वोटरों की चुप्पी सबका खेल अलग से बिगाड़ रही है. जहाँ अधिक मतों का प्रतिशत पहले सरकार विरोध का परिचायक माना जाता था वहीँ बिहार के चुनावों ने इस मिथक की धज्जियां उड़ा दी. राजनैतिक पार्टियाँ अपनी पूरी बुद्धि का इस्तेमाल करके भी पूरी तरह सही स्थिति नहीं बना पा रही हैं. सही मायने में इस समय यदि कोई विपक्ष है वह है माननीय न्यायालय. अपने अनेकों एतिहासिक निर्णयों के साथ पिछले दो वर्ष न्यायिक सक्रियता के लिए ऐसे ही जाने जायेंगे जैसे इमरजेंसी के समय के वर्ष जाने जाते हैं. पर न्यायालय का सरकार के ऊपर हावी होना हमारे राजनैतिक तंत्र की कमजोरी का परिचायक है क्योंकि कोई भी नीतिगत निर्णय न्यायालय के हस्तक्षेप के बिना पूरा नहीं हो पा रहा है. ऐसे में जनता नेताओं के बारे में बुरा न सोचे तो क्या करे. परिवर्तन और साफ़ सुथरी सरकार के नाम पर वोट मांगती भाजपा जहाँ उत्तर प्रदेश में अपने अभियान का प्रारंभ बाबु लाल कुशवाहा से करती है वहीँ अकालियों के तथाकथित गुंडाराज के विरोध में वोट मांगती कांग्रेस पंजाब में कत्ले आम की बात करती है. एक बेहद कठिन परिस्थिति से गुजर रही भारत की राष्ट्रीय राजनीति को कोई करिश्माई नेतृत्व की पुरजोर तरकार है!

राष्ट्रकवि रामधारी सिंह दिनकर की यह महान रचना सोचने पर मजबूर करती है. यह रचना आजादी के सात वर्ष के बाद लिखी गयी थी. इसमें श्री दिनकर की व्यथा स्पष्ट है. इसे उन्होंने उस समय व्याप्त भ्रष्टाचार से त्रस्त होकर लिखा था. इसे पढ़ें एवं सोचें...जय हिंद.

ढीली करो धनुष की डोरी, तरकस का कस खोलो ,

 किसने कहा, युद्ध की वेला चली गयी, शांति से बोलो?

Sanjiv Bhatt-A controversial life

Sanjiv Bhatt has been in controversy recently due to good or bad reasons for filing an affidavit against Narender Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat. I am presenting herein below a brief of his controversial career as IPS officer.

Name: Sanjeev Bhatt

Post: IPS, 1988 Gujarat Cadre

Right from starting, his career has been controversial in Gujarat. Earlier, he was posted in as ASP Jamnagar district when there was an agitation at Khamabliya. It was reported that he committed excessive use of power and clamping of draconian provisions of TADA on some of the protestors. Police (ASP) in Jamnagar district was marked with an incident of misuse of power resulting to death of a person. There was a private criminal complaint filed at Jamjodhpur Police station against him on 18-11-1990 by one Shri Amrutlal Madhavji Vaishnani. This case is still pending at Sessions Court at Kahambalia.

A criminal complaint was filed in 1996 by one Shri Sumer Singh Rajpurohit, an Advocate practicing at Pali, Rajasthan against Shri Sanjiv Bhatt, the then SP, Banaskantha District. A criminal case was registered against Shri Sanjiv Bhatt & others vide FIR No. 403/96 dtd. 18-11-1996 u/s 120B, 195, 196, 342, 347, 357, 365, 388, 458, 482 IPC and Sec. 58 (1) & 58 (2) of NDPS Act. After the investigation, a chargesheet was filed against Shri Sanjiv Bhatt & others u/s 114, 120B, 323, 342, 348, 357, 365, 368, 388, 452, 201 & 482 IPC and Sec. 9, 17, 18, 29, 58 (1) & 58 (2) r/w Sec. 37 of NDPS Act in the Court of Special Judge, NDPS Act, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is mentioned that Shri Sumer Singh Rajput was a tenant of sister of Shri R.R. Jain, a sitting Judge of Gujarat High Court. To get the tenant evacuated for the rented premises, Shri Sanjiv Bhatt, the then SP of Banaskanthe and his subordinate police officers planted more than 1kg of Narcotic drug in one room in a hotel at Palanpur, Gujarat, which was shown that the complainant was occupying the same while the complainant was at Pali, Rajasthan. The said complainant Advocate was abducted at midnight from Pali on the instructions of Shri Sanjiv Bhatt by his subordinate police staff and brought him to Palanpur, Banaskantha in Gujarat. The said Advocate was pressurized by Shri Sanjiv Bhatt and his subordinate police officers to vacate the said rented premises by threatening arrest under offence under NDPSAct. The Advocate under pressure vacated the property. Physical possession of the property was immediately handed over to sister of Shri R.R. Jain, Judge of Gujarat High Court. Shri Sanjiv Bhatt asked released Shri Sumersingh Rajpurohit on 08-05-1996, after filing a report u/s 169 Cr.P.C., in which it was stated that Shri Sumer Singh could not be identified in the Test Identification Parade.

Applications were filed for quashing the criminal complaint filed in Pali at Gujarat and Rajasthan High Court. But the petitions have been dismissed and the criminal case is still pending. Also, the Gujarat Vigilance Commission had recommended twice on 15-07-2002 and 19-10-2006for suspension of Shri Sanjiv Bhatt for his professional misconducts.His stint as Assistant Superintendent of The Secretary, Bar Association, Pali (Rajasthan) made a complaint before the National Human Rights Commission. The Commission considering the serious human right violation by its order dated 15-09-2010 directed the State Govt. of Gujarat to pay a sum of Rs. One lakh as monetary relief to Shri Sumer Singh, advocate, Pali. The Gujarat government issued order dated 23-12-2010 as per the direction of the NHRC to pay the amount. A cheque was issued on 25-01-2011 in favour of Shri S.C. Rajpurohit.

Since the criminal proceeding is pending against him and as one charge sheet has been issued to him, he has grievances against the state government. He has been trying to get these issues settled and get his overdue promotion as IGP. In 2003 he came in to headline when he was transferred from Sabarmati Jail and many prisoners tried to commit suicide.  As superintendent  of Sabarmati Jail, he came under controversy when he included Gajar ka Halwa into the menu of Jail prisoners including those who were accused of the Godhra Coach arson case. 59 people were burnt alive, which led to riots in Gujarat killing both Hindus and Muslims.. He also appointed Godhra under trials as heads of various jail committees. He was thereafter transferred. Now, he came under controversy when he filed an affidavit before Supreme Court that he was present in controversial meeting of 27.02.2002 when Modi allegedly gave instructions to Police Officers not to take action against Hindus. He failed to appear before Nanawati Commission and also said that Supreme Court appointed SIT is not working in a fair manner. 

He was recently arrested after a complaint cum FIR from a constable that he tried to pressurize him to  give false affidavit to accuse Narender Modi. All his seniors including Mr. Modi himself have denied that Bhatt was present in the meeting. There is no documentary evidence to support his claim anywhere in Gujarat. He was summoned thrice by Gujarat Police under Section 160 Cr.P.C. to depose against the complaint filed by Karansin Dhanbahadur, a police constable. He failed to appear and hence was formally arrested few days ago. 

I have copy of FIR as well, the same is rough but almost perfect sequence of events. Do we need to believe upon such persons.

नई शुरुआत

ज़मीर कांप ही जाता है आप कुछ भी कहें,

वो हो गुनाह से पहले या हो गुनाह के बाद.

एक शायर ने जब यह लिखा होगा तो शायद उसके दिलो-दिमाग में बहुत पवित्र विचार भरे होंगे, वरना आज के दिन ज़मीर की बात करना भी बेमानी हो चला है. भ्रष्टाचार हमारे अन्दर इतनी बुरी तरह से घर कर चुका है कि विचारों की पवित्रता की बात करने वाले की तो खिल्ली उडाई जाती है. क्या यह विडम्बना नहीं है. हमारी शिक्षा व्यवस्था में नैतिक शिक्षा का कोइ स्थान नहीं है इसलिए ही हमारे नौजवान इमानदारी, पवित्रता, नैतिकता जैसे शब्दों की कीमत नहीं जानते. क्या हम कुछ कर पायेंगे इसे बदलने के लिए.

सेठ के चार सेवक और "लोकपाल"

एक कथा प्रस्तुत कर रहा हूँ, ये मुझे एक परम मित्र ने पिछले दिनों सुनाई थी. एक सेठ था जो हर रोज रात को एक किलोग्राम दूध पीता था. उसने अपने बुढापे के कारण एक सेवक रख लिया. उस सेवक का कार्य केवल रात को दूध गर्म करके सेठ को देना था. उस नौकर ने कुछ ही दिन में गड़बड़ शुरू कर दी. वह रात को एक पाव दूध स्वयं पी जाता और बाकी सेठ को पानी मिला के दे देता. सेठ को कुछ न सूझी, उसने एक और सेवक रख लिया, उस सेवक का काम था पुराने नौकर को देखना कि कहीं वह गड़बड़ तो नहीं कर रहा. अब दोनों आपस में मिल गए और सेठ को केवल आधा किलो दूध मिलता. सेठ बड़ा परेशान हुआ, कुछ सूझता न देख उसने एक सेवक को रख लिया और दोनों सेवकों को उसके अन्दर कर दिया. अब तीनो ने मिल बाँट कर दूध पीना शुरू कर दिया और सेठ को केवल एक पाव दूध देते. सेठ बेहद परेशान हो गया और उसने एक सेवक रख लिया अपने बाकी भ्रष्ट सेवकों के ऊपर. उसे जिम्मेदारी दी गयी कि अपने तीन सेवकों के भ्रष्ट आचरण पर नज़र रखे और समय पर सेठ को बताए. उस सेवक ने पहले तो तीनों सेवकों को देखा, सेठ को अपने विश्वास में लिया और फिर अपना हिस्सा माँगा. जब तीनों ने बताया कि वे कैसे सेठ को बेवक़ूफ़ बना रहे हैं तो चौथा सेवक बोला अब सेठ को कोई दूध नहीं देगा. योजना अनुसार चौथे सेवक ने सेठ को दूध नहीं दिया. थका हुआ सेठ रात को दूध का इंतज़ार करते हुए सो गया. सोने के बाद चौथे सेवक ने सेठ के होठों पर मलाई लगा दी. सुबह उठने के बाद सेठ ने सबसे पहले दूध की बात पूछी तो सेवक ने बताया सेठ जी अपने मूंह पर लगी मलाई देख लो, रात को आपने दूध पिया तो था, पर शायद आप भूल गए. 

अब सोचिये, कहीं आपका लोकपाल सेठ के चौथे सेवक की तरह तो नहीं है. क्या नैतिक उत्थान के बिना राष्ट्र का उत्थान संभव है? मेरा उत्तर "नहीं"  होगा.

भूखी भारत-माता के सूखे हाथों को चूम लो
प्रेसिडेन्ट की लंच-डिनर में स्वाद बदल लो, झूम लो
पद्म-भूषणों, भारत-रत्नों से उनके उद्गार लो
पार्लमेण्ट के प्रतिनिधियों से आदर लो, सत्कार लो
मिनिस्टरों से शेकहैण्ड लो, जनता से जयकार लो
दायें-बायें खडे हज़ारी आफ़िसरों से प्यार लो
धनकुबेर उत्सुक दीखेंगे उनके ज़रा दुलार लो

...नागार्जुन

मेरे भारत का मशहूर तमाशा.

मेरे भारत का मशहूर तमाशा.

मेरे भारत में कुछ ख़ास है,

प्याज से सरकार बदलती है, दंगों से सरकार बनती है,

नौकरी का फैंसला पैदा होने पर होता है,

लिंग का फैंसला पैदा होने से पहले होता है,

गरीब की तकदीर में तो बहुत कुछ ख़ास है,

पहले हाथ जुड्वाता है बाद में हाथ जोड़ता है.

मेरे भारत में कुछ ख़ास है.

जनता यहाँ गाली देती है पर कुछ बदलती नहीं,

एक धर्म को गाली देना यहाँ धर्मनिरपेक्षता है,

अंग्रेजी बोलने को लोग बड़ा मानते हैं,

पर १२ कोस पर यहाँ बोली बदलती है,

हर प्रदेश की अपनी वेश भूषा है,

किस्मत फिर भी पेंट-कोट से बदला करती है.

मेरे भारत में कुछ ख़ास है,

यहाँ तकदीरें पुरुषार्थ से नहीं जुगाड़ों से बदला करती है.

मैं क्यों खड़ा हूँ?

मैं क्यों खड़ा हूँ?

भ्रष्टाचार के विरुद्ध आन्दोलन में आम आदमी क्यों खड़ा रहा? यह प्रश्न अब आम हो गया है. एक छोटी सी कविता इस बात को लेकर मैंने रची है. 

समाचारों में देख कर चुन्नी लाल जी एक दिन जा पंहुचे धरने पर,

उन्हें देख पड़ोस के नेता जी परेशान,

पुछा तुम क्या करोगे चुन्नी लाल?

तुम न तो सामजिक कार्यकर्ता हो,

तुम न ही कोई सर्वमान्य नेता हो,

तुम्हारी गर कोई परेशानी है तो कह डालो,

अनशन धरने पर बैठ अपने ऊपर बोझ न डालो.

क्या तुम्हें किसी ने सरकार के विरुद्ध खड़ा किया है,

लगता है है विपक्ष ने तुम्हारा इस्तेमाल किया है,

मेरी बात मानो अपने घर को जाओ,

राजनीति नेताओं का काम होती है,

आपके लिए नहीं.

अब तक ठठक से गए चुन्नी लाल जी सोचने लगे,

क्या मैं इस देश में चलने लायक हूँ?

क्या मैं इस देश के अन्दर कुछ बोलने लायक हूँ?

क्या इस देश में अपनी आवाज उठाना राजनीति है?

क्या मैं राजनीति करने लायक हूँ?

तभी भीतर से आवाज आई,

चुन्नी लाल....!

तुम एक आम आदमी हो, 

आम आदमी, तुम्हारे मत से नेता बनेंगे,

आगे जाके तुम्हारा खून पियेंगे,

फिर कहेंगे तुम्हें अधिकार कहाँ कानून तोड़ने का,

फिर हवालात में जाने से अच्छा अपने घर जाओ और भारत का मशहूर तमाशा देखो,

जहाँ आम आदमी की बातें तो होती हैं, पर उसकी सुने बिना.

मेरी जाति "आम आदमी" है.

मेरी जाति "आम आदमी" है.

सड़क पर फटे हाल एक पुरुष को खड़ा देख,नेता जी रुके,

उनसे पूछा,

तुम कौन हो भाई,

बड़े गरीब और पिछड़े हुए लगते हो,

कितने पढ़े लिखे हो, क्या करते हो,

परिवार में कौन कौन है, क्या क्या करता है,

तुम गरीबी रेखा से नीचे हो?

अगर हो तो तुम्हें चावल मिलेगा, तेल मिलेगा घर मिलेगा,

तुम पिछड़ी जाति के हो, अगर हो तो तुम्हें छात्रवृति मिलेगी,

नौकरी मिलेगी, प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा,

तुम अनुसूचित जाति के हो?

अगर हो तो तुम्हें सरकार नौकरी देगी, बच्चों को पढ़ाएगी,

सब कुछ तुम्हें मुफ्त मिलेगा, तुम बोलो भाई तुम कौन हो?

तुम महिला होते तो तुम्हें अलग से खड़े होने का मौका मिलता,

आरक्षण मिलता, सब कुछ मिलता, पर तुम कुछ बोलते नहीं, कुछ बोलो!

इतनी देर से परेशान वो पुरुष बोला,

नेता जी,

बड़ा दुःख है मुझे कि मैं इनमें से कुछ नहीं,

पर आप समझ पायेंगे ही नहीं मैं क्या हूँ,

भारत की सभी सरकारें मेरे नाम से मत लेती हैं,

मेरा नाम हर घोषणा पत्र में होता है, मेरे नाम से सब आगे बढ़ते हैं,

आपने भी कभी न कभी मेरी जाति का नाम जरूर सुना होगा,

पर दुःख है कि यहाँ मुझे पूछने वाला कोई नहीं,

मैं भूखा हूँ, अनाज नहीं मिलता,

मेरे बच्चे पढना चाहते हैं पर उन्हें दाखिला नहीं मिलता,

मैं पढ़ा लिखा हूँ, मुझे काम नहीं मिलता,

रहने को छत नहीं, पर मुझे घर नहीं मिलता.

नेता जी हैरान परेशान देखते रहे,

वो पुरुष बोलता रहा,

नेता जी मेरी जाति"आम आदमी"  है,

इस देश में सबको सब कुछ मिलता है,

पर मुझे कोई नहीं पूछता,

हर चुनाव में मैं मत का प्रयोग करता हूँ,

मेरे मत से सरकार बदलती है,

पर मैं पचास साल पहले भी भूखा था,

आज भी हूँ.

मैं आम आदमी हूँ, 

क्या आप मेरी सहायता करेंगे?

नेता जी अनमना सा मूंह लेकर अपनी गाडी में चले गए,

और आम आदमी अगले नेता जी कि गाडी का इंतज़ार करने लगा.

सरकार और आम आदमी...

मैं खड़ा हूँ,

मेरा अंतर्द्वंद मुझे जीने न दे रहा है,

जब सारा भारत खड़ा है तो मैं क्यों सो रहा हूँ?

ऐसा सोच आम आदमी एक दिन सारे भारत के साथ धरने पर बैठ गया,

सुबह पत्रकारों ने आम आदमी को नेता घोषित किया,

दोपहर आम आदमी को भारत का भविष्य घोषित किया,

शाम आई और आम आदमी ने बैठकर सोचा,
मेरी सरकार शायद आम आदमी की सरकार है,
मेरे दुःख से शायद किसी को सरोकार है,
जब-जब मैंने उठना चाहा, बाँध हाथ बिठा दिया,
जब-जब मैंने उड़ना चाह, बाँध पंख बिठा दिया,
शायद वह पुरानी यादें, अब बस यादें हैं.
इसी उधेड़ बुन में वह आम आदमी, सो गया.

उठ सुबह जब हुआ नया सवेरा,
प्रभात की किरणों ने आम आदमी का चेहरा जगमगाया,
आम आदमी ने खुद को सड़क पर पाया,
न पेट में अनाज, न तन पर कोई कपडा,
कहाँ गया जो मेरे पास था मेरा रैन बसेरा,

टूटा दिवा स्वप्न तो उसे याद आया,
कल था चुनाव, आम आदमी राजा था,
आज है आम आदमी की नयी सरकार,
और आम आदमी फिर से हाथ बाँध कर नए सवेरे को याद कर रहा है.

"सोच सोच कर मैंने सरकार बनायीं, पर फिर भी इतनी अक्ल मुझे न आई,
सरकार आम आदमी के लिए नहीं, सरकार आम आदमी से बनती है.
कार्य तब भी वह अपने लिए करती थी, कार्य अब भी वह अपने लिए ही करती है."

एक आम आदमी का गुनाह!!

सड़क पर चलते एक आम आदमी को पुलिस ने पकड़ लिया. यह छोटी सी कविता उस आम आदमी और पुलिस की वार्ता का दृष्टान्त है. इसकी रचना मैंने खुद की है. 

सड़क पर चलते उस आदमी को पुलिस ने पकड़ लिया,

उन्हें हवालात में बिठाया गया,

तुम क्यों आये पूछा बराबर वाले कैदी ने,

जवाब मिला पता नहीं. 

उन्होंने दूसरे कैदी से पूछा,

तुम क्यों आये भाई हवालात में,

शकल से तो तुम भी शरीफ लगते हो?

ऐसा क्या किया जो यहाँ बैठे हो.

मैं तो बिजली का बिल समय पर भरता हूँ,

राशन के लिए पंक्ति में सबसे पीछे खड़ा होता हूँ,

बस में जाते हुए खड़ा होकर सफ़र करता हूँ,

नौकरी करते २० साल हुए पर मेरे अफसर को मेरा नाम नहीं पता,

भ्रष्टाचार मैं करता नहीं, किसी अबला का अपमान मैं करता नहीं,

तुम बताओ भाई तुम्हें क्या हुआ?

भाई मेरी भी यही गाथा है,

पर मेरी गाथा में अलग ये है की मेरे पास नौकरी नहीं है,

अपने माता पिता की सेवा करता हूँ,

नौकरी के लिए पंक्तियों में लगता हूँ,

मैं तो नौकरी के लिए किसी नेता के पास नहीं जाता,

कभी किसी को पैसा नहीं खिलाता,

तो फिर मैं यहाँ क्यों?

पास में खड़ा पुलिस अफसर जो ये सब सुन रहा था,

बोला-

भाई सड़क पे तो तुम दोनों सही थे,

महंगाई की मार से तुम दोनों त्रस्त हो,

कभी पुलिस स्टेशन देखा नहीं,

कभी बेईमानी की नहीं,

पर फिर भी मुझे तुम्हें पकड़ना पड़ा,

क्योंकि तुम एक आम आदमी हो,

और आम आदमी होना भारत में गुनाह है.

दोनों व्यक्ति दंग , एक दूसरे को देखते रह गए,

पुलिस वाला बोला,

भाई अगर तुम वो सब करलेते,

तो तुम यहाँ शासन करते और......

और.....

कोई और आम आदमी अन्दर होता,

तुम नहीं.....!!!
